Take a lovely drive down Venice Ave in the heart of the City of Venice to Venice Beach.
As you walk on the beach you can look for shells and shark teeth.
The beach has Lifeguards on duty all year long and Volleyball area. Also, a Pavilion with restrooms and a snack bar and covered picnic area
Just off shore (about 1/4 mile) is a coral reef which is a great place for diving.
